The Cleveland Police Foundation just announced its 2020 Friends Fundraising Campaign today, according to Grant Dinner, Foundation chair.
“Here is a chance for everyone in Cleveland and the county to say “thank you” to our men and women in blue by becoming a friend of the Cleveland Police Foundation,” said Dinner. “Through the community’s generosity and support by our board, we will be able to provide the Cleveland Division of Police support for unfunded programs that contribute to the health, safety and morale of our police force.”
The campaign promises to provide one or more Cleveland Police Foundation membership cards. According to the foundation, a $25 donor receives a single membership card, while a $5,000 donor receives 12 mini-badges, membership cards, lapel pins, as well as special website recognition.
Donations to the Friends Membership Fund will support Cleveland Cops for Kids, Cleveland Police Athletic League, Cleveland Police Museum, the Cleveland Police Mounted Unit Charitable Trust, the Pipes and Drums of the Cleveland Police and the Cleveland Police Honor Guard. Just recently, the Foundation helped the Pipes and Drums purchase new uniforms.
The Cleveland Police Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) and all contributions are tax deductible.
