P&G Launches “Masks on, Ohio”—How About Washing Your Hands?

Thank you Procter & Gamble for your key role in a new advertising blitz that encourages Ohioans to wear face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Ohio Experience adds don’t forget personal spacing and washing your hands. It all fits.

Governor Mike DeWine taps the marketing expertise of the maker of consumer goods such as Safeguard hand sanitizer, a company that launched the campaign July 1. The public’s private partnership is alive and well in Ohio.

P&G will be sharing insights on habit-forming and behavior changes to create the “Masks On, Ohio” campaign. The goal is to remind Ohioans that wearing masks is one way to protect not only themselves but also family, friends and neighbors until a vaccine against COVID-19 can be developed.
